how do I use my afterglow mask?
your afterglow dry facial mask is so simple to use, all you have to do is hydrate your mask then apply it to your face. you can do this in a few easy steps. first add about a teaspoon of afterglow to your palm or a small non-metallic bowl. slowly add water or another liquid to the powder, mixing until you create a smooth paste. apply this gently to the face using your (clean) fingers or a flat-bristled makeup brush being careful to avoid the eye area. leave until it starts to dry, usually about 10 – 15 minutes, then before the mask gets dry and flaky remove it with warm water by gently massaging it away with your fingers or a soft face cloth.
what liquids can I use to hydrate my afterglow mask?
you can hydrate your mask using water (distilled water is best) or choose another liquid beneficial to your skin type.
you could try tea, apple cider vinegar, hydrosols or floral waters, coconut water, yoghurt, honey or a blend of these. your options are almost limitless (within reason, of course), just make sure you choose a liquid that will make your skin type happy. if you have sensitive skin it’s best to start with water before experimenting with other liquids.
we will be introducing some floral waters that can be used in conjunction with our dry mask range.
